Samudra LED has been supplying its Kite Series range of High Efficacy LED street lights to BEST Undertaking, Mumbai from 2017. Till date >29K street lights have been supplied and installed in areas which fall under BEST. The lamps are a combination of warm white and cool white.

Samudra won the tender as it offered the maximum energy savings in the lowest cost of ownership. The minimum energy savings required by BEST was 40%. Against this, Samudra LED lamps helped BEST achieve an impressive > 53% energy savings - which was the highest. Samudra LED lamps have also helped reduce maintenance costs by > 50% and the Lux levels today are higher than those specified in the National Lighting Code making the roads brighter and safer.
