Samudra LED bagged the Energy Saving LED Street Lighting contract for SMKCMC (Sangli Miraj Kupwad City Municipal Corporation).
The project is on ESCO basis where in SMKCMC will save 84.5% energy each year, without compromising on the lux levels. Samudra LED will operate and maintain the project for 15 years.
SMKCMC will not be making any upfront capital investments in the project. The project also ensures upgrading the existing street lighting infrastructure where necessary.
The project uses Samudra's latest High Efficacy LED Street Lights with Individual Lamp Control and Centralized Control and Monitoring System.
This not only makes the monitoring and control of Street Lights more efficient and accountable, but also ensures maintenance of lamps is carried out in a very short turn around time as the system sends precise details, such as location and pole no. of the lamps needing maintenance.
Approximately 40K street lamps will be installed under this project.
